  • Saturday, August 8th

    Ivy Tech Culinary & Conference Center

    Get energized during Orientation, the official kick-off to the Pro year. The morning session will be whole group (seniors and underclassmen) to get to know each other and the Pro Program. After lunch we’ll split by grade. Parents will join a TeenWorks 2gether session while their teen begins their own session. Underclassmen will come together for an interactive session on Personal Branding and Elevator Pitches. Seniors will jump into post-secondary applications, like Common App and scholarship applications, and explore the costs of pursuing education after high school.

    An interactive workplace tour to learn more about career options in your city! More details to come.

  • Saturday, October 10th

    Ivy Tech Culinary & Conference Center

    Join us for the 5th annual Career Cafe! In the morning session we’ll be visited by professionals- representing a variety of fields- for open conversations about finding your passion, defining success, and balancing professional and personal life. After lunch, Underclassmen will turn to Futures & Fortunes, a session all about job research and prep. Seniors will lock in for their session over FAFSA and the TeenWorks Scholarship to try and earn that free money!

    College Tours (During Fall Break)

    We’ll be visiting 4 Indiana colleges. Tune back in for details on while schools and which days during your school’s Fall Break.

    Ivy Tech Culinary & Conference Center

    The morning will bring us all together for a session over telling your life story. After lunch we’ll break into groups again. Underclassmen will bring their most up to date resume for peer review, as well as participate in peer to peer interviews to prep for February Mock Interviews. Seniors will finish their application essays and submit their FAFSA application.

    We’re working with certified professionals to try and bring you a short tax seminar! We’ll also bring in our partners from Medallion Talent Acquisition to lead our yearly LinkedIn session.

  • Saturday, February 20th

    Ivy Tech Culinary and Conference Expo

    Come in your best business casual attire, because it’s Mock Interviews!!! We’ll have volunteers join us to help you practice your interviewing skills and take them to the next level. After morning Mock Interviews we’ll split by grade. Underclassmen will work on their time management and problem solving skills. Seniors will be joined by TeenWorks Alumni for candid conversations about their experiences out of high school.

    It’s the final PD! Let’s wrap up the school year and celebrate our accomplishments.
