Abbi is originally from Lebanon, Indiana and attended DePauw University. After her undergraduate work she pursued a career in marketing, eventually earning her Master’s in Business Administration, with a concentration in Leadership, from Butler University in 2011.

Her development background includes work at The Villages of Indiana, as well as Tindley Accelerated Schools, where she oversaw and development and marketing initiatives. In early 2020 she earned her CFRM (Certificate of Fundraising Management) from The Fund Raising School at The Lilly School of Philanthropy in Indianapolis.

In June of 2025, Abbi joined the team at Teenworks as the Vice President of Development and Communications and is passionate about providing employment and educational opportunities for teens across the state of Indiana.

Outside of her work, she is involved in the community and currently volunteers for the Civic Guild at Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre, as well as serves on the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She was honored to participate on the OPTIONS cohort in 2024 with The Women’s Fund of Central Indiana.

Abbi lives with her husband, Ryan, three kids, and two labrador retrievers.
